Remote viewing should probably be known as Remote Perceiving, since sight is only one of the senses that can be perceived non-locally.
Remote Viewing is the Art & Science of non-local perception, it should more properly be termed a discipline, since it seems to be a natural human ability that anyone can develop using a set of exercises, techniques and protocols.
Non-local? Yes that's right, training in Remote Viewing allows you to do the apparently impossible: collect information on events , persons, objects or things that are distant in time or space from the location of your physical body.
Remote Viewing was developed in the 1970's by Ingo Swann, well-known artist and psychic , Howard Puthoff and Russell Targ, Physicists and researchers of the Stanford Research Institute. It later became the focus of several military programs in the USA over two decades before being officially shut down in 1995.
